Interview with Professional Dancer turned Entrepreneur, Brandon Alexander
Brandon Alexander is the creator and founder of New Age Gents, a platform that's designed to build better men through discussing what it means to be a gentleman.
After moving to L.A. in 2007, Brandon trained to become a professional dancer and has shared the stage with artists such as Beyonce, Raphael Saadiq, & Jennifer Lopez. Seeking a higher calling he then moved to Texas in search of the next adventure.
In 2013, after recognizing the slow death of chivalry, Brandon created New Age Gents with the mission of creating quality content and services that empower and uplift others. His mentoring, public speaking, and writing aim to shift the narrative and discuss what it means to be a gentleman in the 21st century.

In today's fast-paced and ego centric world it is more important than ever to slow down and show kindness and compassion to others. His insightful blog posts discuss gratitude, vulnerability, masculinity and many other topics often overlooked by mainstream media outlets. During the interview we spoke about how and why we can all learn to be gentle while still being a man, the importance of loving ourselves first, & how mentorship can drastically change the direction of your life. We discussed the importance of soft skills such as eye contact & patience and how that creates long-lasting relationships. Finally, he gave some incredible insight into how to become the person that enters a room and draws the focus and attention of everyone by being a point of light and authenticity.
This was one of my favorite interviews and I'm glad to say I've made a new friend and mentor.
